Scatter

Use Blender's powerful geometry nodes instancing system to easily and efficiently spread assets across your terrain.

Getting Started

First thing to do is with a selected mesh object click the large `Add Scatter System` button in the right hand viewport panel.

Next in the popup window select whether you'd like to choose from an installed asset or object(s) already in your scene. If you choose from an installed asset you will also have the option of choosing the quality level.

From here you can add more objects to the layer, change the scatter settings in the `Scatter` tab, add masking to put your assets only in specific places in the `Masks` tab, or modifiy the scattered objects either in the `Modifiers` tab or the `Modifiers` section of the rotation section in the `Scatter` tab.
